HOW 'BOUT THOSE GIANTS!!!Way to go! Hey NY, how you like Eli now? Hey Tiki, retire too soon? What a great game. Never thought it would be this good. I hope NY appreciates and gives props to their boyz! Amazing catch David Tyree. Nice scramble to avoid the sack, Eli (isn't holding still a penalty? Oh well, it turned out OK anyway!) Goodbye and thanks for all the fish! |

HOW 'BOUT THOSE GIANTS!!!King David -- I've been a Celtics fan all my life. Robert Parish was probably my favorite player from the Celts when I was growing up. I liked Big Bird, I liked Kevin McHale, I liked Dennis Johnson (RIP), but Parish, good ole '00,' was The Man. It made for some interesting times growing up because my older brother was (and still is) an LA Lakers fan. We nearly came to blows a few times! It's great to see them having such a fantastic year. That's what happens when you actually go out and get the pieces to put a great team together, and don't just leave Paul Pierce hangin' out to dry by himself year after year. The Celts are well coached this year, and they are playing like a team. Hopefully, they will go deep into the playoffs, maybe to the Finals, if everything falls right. I'm already looking forward to a few more years of good times watching them play. How long have you been following them? |

Been a Celtics fan all my life!KD -- I see you're also a Bruins fan! Awesome! They're having a pretty good year, too -- four points out of first place in the Northeast Division. Unfortunately, since I don't live in a "hockey" market (the closest NHL team to me is the Columbus Bluejackets, and all the games I get to see are on Versus during the week and NBC on the weekends), I don't get to see all that much. I mostly follow the NHL online and "watch" games here on GameCenter. It's not a bad way to go, actually. I'll be happy to see the Bruins make the playoffs this year, if they can hold on -- they currently have the 6th seed with 19 games left. That's a lot of games, and they've proven in the past that anything, good or bad, can happen with that much season left. |
